Hand Rejuvenation

Remember the old adage, “You can tell a woman’s age by her hands?”  Thanks to hand rejuvenation, this no longer needs to be the case.  At your consultation, Dr. Diehl will go over the techniques for reducing visible tendons and veins, age spots, pigmentation and loose skin.

The Procedure

Hand rejuvenation can involve any or all of the following:  Topical Treatments, including skin peels and laser treatments; Fat Grafting, Skin Excess Correction and Vein Removal. 

Fat grafting generally has the highest impact of the hand rejuvenation procedures.  By filling in the top of the hand from the wrist to the middle of the fingers, Dr. Diehl can give your hands the plumpness of youth, and reduce pigmentation.  Skin excess can be corrected by small incisions or by the use of the skin-shrinking Thermage machine.  Vein removal can be done by surgical excision.   Laser treatments can help to reduce pigment changes.

Recovery varies by procedure.  At your consultation, Dr. Diehl will go over your options, and provide you with a realistic action plan based on your wish list.
