Thigh Lift

If your thighs are your primary trouble spot, you’re not alone.  They are one of the primary spots where fat gathers, and is impossible to “spot reduce.”  Fortunately, thigh lifts can be a very effective tool for sculpting this stubborn region.

The Procedure

Medial thigh lifts can generally be done in approximately two hours.  With this procedure, Dr. Diehl makes a short incision from the front of the thigh/groin, around to the buttock crease.  She then removes excess skin and tightly rejoins the remaining skin.  Compressive garments are worn from the waist to above the knees to reduce swelling. 

The Recovery

During your recovery, it is important to keep tension on the incision area by keeping your knees bent and approximately shoulder-length apart for approximately a week.  You can expect swelling and bruising for several weeks.  Recovery time varies by extent location of the lift.  During your consultation, Dr. Diehl will provide realistic expectation for your procedure.
